The winners of the 2012 Alberta Literary Awards were announced this week. Recipients include Lynn Coady (The Antagonist), Alice Major (Intersecting Sects) and Tim Bowling (Tenderman).

Recent reports by the Association of American Publishers show that eBook revenues have topped hardcover sales in 2012. eBook sales are up 28% since 2011, reflecting the growing popularity of electronic reading devices.
