Caitlynn Cummings – Managing Editor

Caitlynn Cummings cultivated a love for the prairies among the wheat and barley of her Albertan family farm. Also planted there was her love of the word. She hurtled through books for the MS Read-A-Thon, often deep into the night by flashlight, and got lost in worlds of fantasy (Avalonian, Tolkienian, C.S. Lewisian?, etc.). This word-love grew in genre and scope into a BA in English at the University of Alberta, and an MSc in Creative Writing at the University of Edinburgh. Now she is thrilled to be taking on the exciting role of filling Station Managing Editor where she hopes to help budding writers take root in our blossoming literary community and hopes not to fatigue her collective with endless puns! Jen Spruit is a founding member of the sensational Spruit quartet located on the beautiful, yet moody Vancouver Island. She is sharpening her literary talons with an MA in Creative Writing at UBC. Other interests include (but are not limited to) teaching music, gardening, and cycling.
