Seanah Roper is an emerging writer of fiction and poetry who holds a degree in Contemporary English Literature from Thompson Rivers University. Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, she has experienced Canadian life from east to west. She takes special care in exploring the facets of the Canadian landscape, both physical and cultural, within her writing. Her work often delves into the speculative and bizarre, blurring genre lines andexperimenting with historical narratives. Her writing has been featured in Undercurrents Anthology, On Spec Magazine, and Writing Without Direction 10 1/2 Short Stories by Canadian Authors Under Thirty. Quill and Quire described her publication in the latter as "the stand out" of the anthology, praising her vibrant storytelling and imagery. She currently lives in Fort Nelson, British Columbia, where she is a Literacy Practitioner.
