Ruth Elynia S. Mabanglo


Ruth Elynia S. Mabanglo is currently Associate Professor of Hawaiian and Indo-Pacific Languages & Literatures at the University of Hawaii, where she teaches Philippine languages and literature. She has won five Carlos Palanca Memorial Award (the Philippines' highest literary distinction) first prizes for her poetry, and has published numerous collections including Kung Di Man (If Not), a collection of love poems in Tagalog, and most recently Anyaya ng Imperyalista/Invitation of the Imperialist, a bilingual collection of poems on diaspora.
