Raphaëlle Dedourge


Raphaëlle Dedourge was born in 1973. She lives in Paris and New York and translates both German and English literature into French. She graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d'Interprètes et de Traducteurs (ESIT) in Paris and has translated books by Anna Seghers, Barbara Honigmann, and the film directory Harmony Korine ("Kids", "Gummo"). She has also subtitled movies for the Cannes Film Festival and worked with several French publishers (Editions Unes, Fourbis, José Corti, P.O.L.).
