Michael Tweed was born in 1960. He is the author of numerous books including poetry, a novel, essays, art criticism and theatre criticism. He is also an editor specializing in translations of Tibetan Buddhist texts. He was co-founder of the literary journal Conspiracy of Silence as well as Pensum Press. He has travelled widely and lived in Paris for several years. Along the way he has painted, directed video and t.v., acted, written and performed music, trained horses (including several world champions) and done many other things too numerous to mention.
