Michael Boughn has taught literature courses at the University of Toronto for seventeen years. His own writing includes poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and essays. His most recent book, 22 Skidoo / Sub Tractions was published by BookThug in 2009 and was the first winner of the no nonsense Friggin Prize ("no long list, no short list, no guest list - - just the Friggin Prize"). Cosmographia, a post-Lucretian faux micro-epic"will be published by BookThug in October. Together with Victor Coleman, he edited Robert Duncan's The H.D. Book, which is forthcoming momentarily from the University of California Press. His now nameless but soon to be retitled detective novel (the book formerly known as Business As Usual) will be published by NeWest (Edmonton).
