Kayla Altman is a Toronto captive, where she lives in a small apartment in a tall building filled with dust and an abundance of things she never uses. Excerpt from "Cannibalistic Cosmos"
The whole world is gonna eat itself. The water will overtake the land, the land
will fight back, but inevitably fail, turning yellow, then grey. Then black. The
water, dissatisfied with gravity, will be compelled to a higher plane. The sky
will seize this opportunity and swallow up the earth. First a sip. Then a swig.
Then a big gaping hole in the universe.
