Dennis Cooley


Dennis Cooley was born in 1944 in Estevan, Saskatchewan and raised on a farm near there. He got his BEd, BA, and MA at the University of Saskatchewan, and a PhD at the University of Rochester, New York. He is active in the Manitoba literary community and teaches Canadian and American literature, creative writing, and literary theory at St. John's College, University of Manitoba. He lives with his wife, Diane, and his two daughters, Dana and Megan. He has collaborated with various musicians. His new book correction line was launched in 2008. He is an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
