Daniel Roche recently completed an MA in English (Poetry) and is currently working towards an MFA in Playwriting, both at San Francisco State University. His poems have appeared in Burning Leaf, Edgar Literary Review, and Poetry Motel. He's had the fortune to have had plays showcased at One-Act Fringe, Greenhouse Theater/Boxcar Studios, and El Teatro de la Esperanza in San Francisco, as well as being a contributing playwright to The East/West Project and Wo-man Women in Taichung, Taiwan. Recently, his short story "Anatomy of a Broken CPA" was a finalist for the Platypus Prize in Fiction and it will be included in The Anthology of Innovative Writing. During the day he proudly works for an accounting firm.
