Vampire Boys

Glowing embers, my eyes remember the
                                                                         feel of fire,
                                                          eating me alive, jealous and
dancing, made stupid by its heat, a
candy Goth like a winged insect, not yet
burnt or schooled in the lessons of dying: it’s

all a big black joke to me now, I am wingless, scorched and beautiful.
